I am usually the one up on her soap box about finishing all of your prescribed antibiotics. I give lectures to people who don’t finish….this is why we have resistant bacteria! Blah blah blah!

My name is suzanne and I have not finished my prescribed antibiotic.

2 times a day is insane for someone with a full time job, 8 month old, and in the process of moving. I don’t even know where it is right now my house is such a mess. If I get a flesh eating bacteria it’s my own damn fault!

Gorgeous. Also photographic proof that the moon is not, in fact, larger near the horizon. That is merely an illusion.

What do they call that illusion? “The Moon Illusion” of course. ASAPScience did a really nice video about it.

I started a blog to update family and friends on pics and video of our baby, mainly so I’m not filling up people’s Facebook feed with pics of my child. My husband sent the link to his family and his mother responded that she got the “new blog” but she wasn’t sure if she was supposed to do something with the “blog”. She kept putting the word blog in quotations as if it were some stupid meaningless thing to her. Maybe I’m being sensitive but I put a lot of work into it so she could see the progress of her grandchild and she is acting as if it is below her to look at it, or ” do something” with it. She is not on Facebook, btw.

My husband and I are done having kids. I want my tubes tied so I don’t have to worry about getting pregnant ever again. I’ve had two ob/gyn’s try to push this new essure thing on me. Are the doctors getting a kickback or what? It’s this procedure where they put metal coils inside your Fallopian tubes and you wait a few months for scar tissue to grow and block the tubes. Then you have to have this horrid X-ray procedure called a hysterosalpingogram (can you tell I used to be an X-ray tech?) to check if you tubes are blocked.

Pros: it’s less invasive

Cons: 1.you have metal coils implanted in you (class action lawsuit waiting to happen and interrupt your fav tv programming)
2. You have to wait 3 months before you are sterile
3. It’s only been around for a year.

Bottom line: I don’t want it but my doctors keep pushing it on me.

Anyone have experience?

Roc retinol deep wrinkle filler: amazing! Not necessarily because it reduces my wrinkles, although it may I haven’t really been noticing those. It’s awesome because it keeps me from getting zits. I used to use retin-A but it made my skin very dry and flaky, this stuff doesn’t dry my skin out at all. I use a dime size amount all over my face and neck, I haven’t had a zit since I started using it a month ago.
